An Italian language course of 80 academic hours in the period from June to September 2020 at Scudit Roma (total price Eur 690) completely free of charge. As always, all the participants (indeed, each and every participant!) will get a prize of some kind (various discounts for intensive summer courses). To answer the questions of the quiz you do not need an advanced level of Italian (otherwise what would you need the scholarship for?), you mostly need a bit of intuition and a good portion of luck. Being patient and googling a bit, everyone can succeed!

LE 13 DOMANDE DI "LIFTING" Si tratta di riconoscere gli autori di 13
famosi ritratti femminili. Il problema è che le modelle, prima di
diventare modelle, hanno fatto il lifting! Le immagini che noi pubblichiamo sono quelle
delle modelle... prima del lifting. Per esempio il ritratto qui
sopra a sinistra è di Raffaello. La modella, la "Fornarina" è
bellissima. Ma prima di posare per Raffaello sembra che la
Fornarina fosse come nell'immagine a destra. Insomma: noi vi
proponiamo 13 ritratti prima del lifting. Voi dovete riconoscere il
dipinto e scrivere il nome dell'autore! |

THE 13 QUESTIONS OF THE "LIFTING!" (“FACELIFT”) QUIZ
The aim is to recognise the 13 famous female portraits. The problem is that the models, before they became models, had undergone a facelift! We publish the photos of those models… before the facelift. For example, the portrait above on the left was painted by Raffaello. The model, the "Fornarina" (lady baker), is beautiful. But it seems that before posing for Raffaello, the Fornarina had looked like the image on the right. So, we give you the 13 portraits of the models before the facelift. You are to recognise the painting and to write the painter’s name!

TERMINI PER LA PARTECIPAZIONE AL CONCORSO Le risposte devono esserci inviate entro il giorno 31 marzo (incluso) del 2020. La possibilità di inviare soluzioni scade esattamente a mezzanotte (ora italiana), fra il 30 e il 31 marzo. Il giorno 6 aprile troverete pubblicati in Matdid i nomi dei vincitori (e la soluzione del quiz, naturalmente)
TERMS OF PARTICIPATION IN THE QUIZ
The answers
are to be submitted on or before March 31,
2020.
It will be possible to submit answers till midnight (Italy time)
between March 30 and March 31.
On April 6 you will find the winners’ names (and the correct
answers, of course) on Matdid website. |
REQUISITI PER PARTECIPARE Il concorso è aperto a tutti. L'unico requisito richiesto è quello di essere stranieri. Si può partecipare una sola volta. Attenzione: se la soluzione del quiz viene mandata dallo stesso mittente più di una volta, sarà considerata valida solo la prima spedizione.

The quiz is open to everyone. The only requirement is to
be a
foreigner (not Italian).
You may submit your answers only once. Attention:
if one person
submits answers more than once, only the first submission will be
considered as valid. |
VINCITORI
Il primo premio viene assegnato a chi avrà mandato tutte e
tredici le risposte esatte, o, comunque, il maggior
numero di risposte esatte fra tutti i concorrenti. Nota: borse di studio, sconti e facilitazioni non sono
cumulabili fra loro, non sono frazionabili e non sono
cedibili a persone diverse dagli assegnatari.
WINNERS
In case several persons give all the correct answers the first prize will go to the participant who will have been the first to submit the answers (will be taken into account the time when the module was submitted). The others will obtain the second prize.
The winners’ names will be published on Matdid website on April 6, 2020. In any case, we will contact directly, via email, the winners of the first prize, the 100%-scholarship. The other participants, who will be numerous!, will find their names online. Those who do not want their names to be published may indicate a pseudonym in the module: we will publish only the pseudonym. As always, we will award a lot of other prizes to all the participants, depending on the number of the correct answers.
